Stephen Thomas Gooch, father and business leader, died at 55.

Stephen was a blues music enthusiast and had many passions including auto racing, fine food and wine, travel, and music. Steve was an accomplished bass guitar player since his teenage years. 

A resident of Antioch California since 1994, died August 22, 2007 in Walnut Creek, CA following several weeks of hospitalization.   

Stephen was born on July 21, 1952 in Phoenix Arizona. He moved to Redlands California in 1960. Stephen graduated from Redlands high school in 1970, receive his Bachelors of Arts from University of Redlands in 1978, and Jurist Doctorate from Western State University of Law in 1984. Stephen joined Carl Warren in 1985 in San Bernardino and moved to Northern California in 1994 to lead the Walnut Creek Office. Steve served in various roles at Carl Warren and advanced to Vice President, Director of National Accounts.   

Stephen is survived by his brothers John Michael Gooch and wife Kathy Gooch, Craig Harris Gooch and wife Terri Gooch, and daughter Lauren Nicole Gooch 

Graveside services will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Redlands on Tuesday August 28 at 10:00 AM.  A memorial celebration will follow at the University of Redlands. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the National Kidney Foundation.
